Growing an online business is hard
Don't believe the hype that says it's easy to build your own online business! If only it were true. Unfortunately, building a eCommerce platform, even with the best of tools is NOT easy.
Apply the KISS principle
Keep It Simple, Stupid. WordPress & page builders like Elementor, Beaver Builder, Divi, etc. promise KISS because no coding is required. To bad their element lists have bloated into the hundreds. Learning when, where and how to use that many elements is as bad as learning to code.
More choice = More Complexity
Preserve simplicity by limiting choices to the 20% which provide 80% of the benefits. That means:
Limiting sites to one page Limiting the number of available elementsLimiting the style optionsFor many people, especially beginners, this will provide everything then need to get started. when and if their business grows they will have learned the terms & technology needed to build their own advanced site or hire a developer.
A simple but fully functional siteAn attractive siteA site from which you can grow A site you can finish quickly
